The Ashford Falls City Council voted 5–0 on June 24 to adopt the Fiscal Year 2027 budget, a $58.4 million balanced budget that holds the property tax millage rate flat for the third consecutive year.
The budget funds a citywide street resurfacing program, the next phase of the Little River Greenway, additional stormwater maintenance, and two new police officer positions.
“This budget keeps our commitments to residents without raising taxes,” said Mayor Eleanor Coleman. “It invests in the streets, parks, and services people use every day.”
The adopted budget and a summary document are available for public review through the Finance department. Copies may also be requested through an open records request.
