Public Works

Public Works maintains the city's streets, stormwater system, sanitation and recycling collection, and rights-of-way, and reviews land-disturbance and zoning permits.

Sanitation & recycling

Curbside collection runs weekly. Place carts at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on your scheduled day. Recycling is collected every other week on the same day as garbage.

Seasonal leaf and brush collection runs October through November. Bagged leaves and bundled brush should be placed at the curb, away from storm drains and mailboxes.

Streets & stormwater

Report a pothole, a damaged street sign, or a clogged storm drain through Report an Issue. Emergency road hazards should be reported to the non-emergency line at (770) 555-0100.

Permits

Land-disturbance, right-of-way, and zoning permits are reviewed by Public Works. Apply online through Pay & Apply.
